On February 8, students from the Ottawa and Gatineau region who are of Haitian descent convened at the Embassy of Haiti in Canada.
It was a nice opportunity for the students and Mission officials to talk about a range of topics, such as the challenges they faced integrating into Canada, the scholarship program, and how to better serve students specifically with consular services. There was also talk over the status of Haiti’s diplomatic ties with Canada. Read more
