Even though the biopic on Bob Marley’s One Love, which releases globally today, is predominantly based in London and shows Jamaica in a somewhat negative way, it is giving a positive push to Jamaica’s tourism industry, according to Jamaica’s tourism minister Edmund Bartlett.
He stated that the movie, which first premiered in Jamaica on January 23 and later in many big international cities, before its worldwide release on February 14, will provide the boost that the country needs as it explores new and thrilling avenues for tourism. Read more.
