    Delta Airlines adding more flights to Antigua and Barbuda

    The strong demand for Antigua and Barbuda in the US market has led Tourism Minister Charles “Max” Fernandez to express his happiness at airlines such as Delta expanding their services to the V.C. Bird International Airport.

    New lodging options and a strong marketing effort by stakeholders and tourism offices are the causes of this demand.

    Colin C. James, the CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA), has also stated that he is happy with Delta’s new schedule.

    Delta Airlines will begin daily flights from Atlanta International Airport on December 7, 2024, and continue until January 7, 2025.

    With Delta Airlines announcing more flights to Antigua and Barbuda, the country’s tourism sector is expected to experience a major uptick in the next winter months.
