Oblique Seville, the 100-meter world champion from Jamaica, has contributed $500,000 to the United Way Jamaica Restoration and Rehabilitation Fund, which will mainly help rural communities affected by Hurricane Melissa.

The United Way Restoration Fund, which was introduced at the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) office on Tuesday with a $1.5 million grant from the advocacy organization, has received contributions from a number of private sector benefactors, including Seville.
